YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS:
The County is planning to spend +$3 million on a new county animal shelter on Tovreaville Rd in Bisbee at the former juvenile detention site. The shelter was planned to be operated by the Humane Society of So Az but they are no longer able to do so. The project has been delayed for two years and will not be available for another 2-4 years.
Meanwhile Tailtopia boarding facility in Sierra Vista (on county land) is available immediately for a cost of $1,5 million. This is a centralized modern facility.
